Goju-Ryu is one of the four main styles of Karate, the system is based on hard and soft techniques.
The story of Goju-Ryu begins with Higaonna Kanryo who taught in Naha-te.
Around 1902, at the age of 14, Miyagi Chojun became a student of Higaonna.
In the 1930s, Miyagi Chojun named his style for Goju-ryu (hard / soft style).
