Shotokan

Shotokan sports karate is one of the four main styles of Karate in the world. The style was spread worldwide, guided from the JKA headquarters in Tokyo (Japan Karate Association), founded in 1949 with Masatoshi Nakayama in the lead.
Shotokan is the Japanese version of Gichin Funakoshi’s Karate. The style is based on Masatoshi Nakayama’s interpretation of Karate.
