Shito-Ryu

Shito-Ryu is one of the four main styles of Karate, focusing on both hard and soft techniques. The style was founded by Kenwa Mabuni, whose primary tutors were Anko Itosu (Shuri-te) and Kanryo Higaonna (Naha-te).
Mabuni trained also with Hanashiro Chômo, one of Itosu’s top-students.
